The NetBeans UI Team
The NetBeans UI Team has two subteams: UI Engineering and HI engineering.
UI Engineering
UI Engineering subteam role:

work with both HIE and the rest of the engineering team on UI implementation
issues

implement consistency changes into existing code

create a UI developer's guide to help both opensource and internal developers
in implementing user interface for their parts

design and implement new UI components and parts

create a UI framework (templates/classes) that would allow developers to
get compliance with JLF (or NetBeans) styleguide (almost) by default
The subteam members are:

HI Engineering
The HI Engineering subteam works with the NetBeans community to design
and usability test the UIs that the NetBeans engineers will ultimately
implement. The HI Engineering subteam is also responsible for the NetBeans
UI standards and consistency.
